Assume the client has never been to our store. Assume this is the client’s first time coming in to our store and give them a quick tour and layout of the store and the brands we carry. Much like we do with a first time visitor to our home - where we give them a quick tour of the property - do the same thing with each and every client that steps into your store for the first time so they are aware of what brands we carry and where they are located. This usually helps the client feel more comfortable and relaxed and therefore more open to an interaction with the sales associate.
